Data Stored On Your Device
Mutabaa stores the following only in local app storage on your phone:
- Family profiles, including name, relationship, optional birth year, room or location, allergies, and medical notes.
- Medication names, strengths, forms, schedules, refill information, notes, and optional photos you attach.
- Dose history, including taken, skipped, pending, and missed doses.
- Vitals you log, including blood pressure, glucose, weight, and related notes.
CodeFounders does not operate a Mutabaa health-data server, account system, cloud sync service, or medical-record database.
Data We Collect About You
We do not receive your medication schedules, dose logs, vitals, medication photos, allergies, or medical notes. In the free version, Google AdMob may process limited advertising data, and RevenueCat processes purchase-validation data if you buy or restore Pro.
Permissions
Notifications and Alarms
Mutabaa uses notifications and exact alarms to deliver medication reminders at scheduled times. Some Android devices may require you to allow alarms and reminders in system settings.
Camera and Photos
Camera and photo access are used only if you choose to attach a medication or profile photo. Those photos stay on your device.
Internet
Internet access is used to load ads in the free version and validate purchases. Medication, vitals, and reminder features are designed to work offline.
Advertising
The free version displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may process information such as advertising identifiers, IP address for approximate location, device information, and ad-interaction data under Google’s Privacy Policy. Mutabaa does not send your medication or health records to AdMob, and Pro removes ads.
Purchases
The one-time Mutabaa Pro unlock is processed by Google Play or the App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage the Pro entitlement. RevenueCat may process a generated app user identifier, purchase or receipt data, product identifier, store, country, and basic device information under RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. We never receive your payment card details.
Deleting Your Data
You can erase Mutabaa data by using the app’s reset option or uninstalling the app. Because health data stays on your device, CodeFounders cannot access, recover, or delete it for you. To reset your advertising identifier, use your device’s system settings.
Children
Mutabaa may be used by adult caregivers to track medication for family members of any age, but the app is intended for use by adults and is not directed to children.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Mutabaa changes or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
